Overview
The mouse restraint system is a restraint system for lab mice during intravenous drug delivery experiments. More specifically, it is designed to hold the mouse securely in place while allowing for injection into the tail of the mouse. I designed this for a reasearch lab at my university, and it went through a series of iterations and feedback before reaching its final form. The files are available for view and download on GitHub or OnShape.
Design
I designed this restraint system in OnShape, a cloud-based CAD platform. I taught myself how to cad and use OnShape frequently in my projects. The first prototypes I 3d-printed myself, but now that the design has been finalized, I no longer manufacture it.
